Tsunami’s devastation in many southern provinces of Thailand resulted in a great disaster for both Thai people and foreigner visitors. Even though the killing wave didn’t strike us directly, we—as a part of Thai national who live by the grace of the King and the love of our home country—see this as a national catastrophe. It affects the whole Thai communities and economies as a whole. 

We volunteered to develop this project because we believe we can help even though it might be a small effort. This project is to set up a website which provides information assisting victim’s relatives or friends by the fastest communication method, internet.   We represent the website in 9 languages; due to there are more than 40 nationalities of victim.

This project is done by our strong will and afford. We worked through the hardship together and it encourages us to be proud of our unity. We’ve never thought that the four days we spent in the police station around the clock would bring warmth to our heart and turn the police station to be a fond place. Although the staffs in this project were brought together by the lost, we are happy to meet many fellows who has helping mind in common.

We would like to thank every government staff that, together, serves our country and make this project happen. Thank you all volunteers and thanks to every Thai people whose heart reaches out to those hurt by tsunami.
